Krystle Verhulp - Owner
Krystle has lead Ring Electric’s day-to-day operations for the last few decades, overseeing customer experience, project coordination, and business growth. Often the first point of contact, she is known for her responsiveness, clear communication, and genuine care for every client.
Deeply involved in each project from start to finish, Krystle ensures every job is handled efficiently, transparently, and with attention to detail. Her leadership has been instrumental in building long-term relationships with homeowners and businesses, and in maintaining the company’s strong reputation for reliability and service.
Driven by a passion for supporting the local community, Krystle is committed to delivering not only high-quality electrical work, but a smooth, stress-free experience from first call to final inspection.
Bryan Verhulp - Founder
Ring Electric was founded in 2003 by Bryan Verhulp, whose decades of experience laid the foundation for the company’s reputation for excellence.
Bryan began his electrical career in 1981 with the Royal Canadian Navy before earning a degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Brunswick. He went on to serve 15 years with the Royal Canadian Air Force as an aerospace engineer, managing aircraft maintenance and personnel, and retired as a captain after 20 years of service.
Following his military career, Bryan worked as an electrical manager at Home Depot, contributed to Home Depot Electrical 123, and earned both his journeyman and master electrician certifications. His depth of knowledge, discipline, and commitment to quality continue to influence the company today.

Our four residences cater to women at every stage of their journey. Serving more than 500 women every year, we have more than 65 full and part-time staff and almost 300 extraordinary volunteers who provide on-site support and refer women to local resources.
The Ottawa Mission is a non-profit, faith-based ministry meeting the needs of the hungry and poor in the Ottawa region. Established in 1906, The Ottawa Mission’s programs and services continue to evolve with the ever-changing needs of the homeless in our community. Our goal for the future is to be prepared to offer a helping hand to all who come to us, no matter what their need.
Operation Come Home prevents homeless youth from becoming homeless adults. Operation Come Home accomplishes this mission by providing homeless youth ages 16-30 with a variety of unique programs and services. Operation Come Home provides programs and services to more than 350+ youth per year, all of whom gain access to OCH with the hope of becoming contributing members of their communities.

Ottawa Innercity Ministries (OIM) was established in June 1988. October 27th, 2013, marked the 25th anniversary of OIM’s work. Over the years OIM has offered care and support to all manner of people. OIM focuses specifically on those experiencing poverty and homelessness in Ottawa.
